Donate a Book You Love

“I am going to encourage everyone out there to honor my daughter by bringing a book by We Act Radio, a book that you love — not just something that you want to throw away — but something that impassioned you. She was impassioned by what she read and lived her life accordingly,” says Rev. Kenneth McClenton, father of the late Charnice Milton.

Video continues with a brief visit to the not-yet-renovated store space and a few remarks from bookstore organizer and We Act Radio co-owner, Kymone Freeman.

  1. Hello. Are you still accepting donations? I am downsizing my library and have books to donate. Two grocery bags of books I think are worthy of your store. Please let me know. Thank you.

    1. We can accept a limited number of books at this point. We cannot use most hardcover mysteries, out of date textbooks, religious books, or any books in bad condition. But we can use once-loved children’s books and adult books of interest to general readers, especially residents of Ward 8. THANKS. Email ProjectManager@weluvbooks.org to set up a drop-off time.
